Carter Flachbarth (b. 1996) received a B.F.A. in painting from SCAD in 2020. Flachbarth’s first museum exhibition, entitled Morality Sucks, at the SCAD Museum of Art, Savannah, GA, ran from December 30, 2021-March 27, 2022. 

Flachbarth’s recent solo exhibitions include, Thrasherville, at Duarte Sequeira, Seoul, Korea in December of 2023, Picture Show at Richard Heller Gallery in November of 2022 and a solo presentation with Richard Heller Gallery at Marfa Invitational, Marfa, TX, also in 2022. Recent group exhibitions include, Daily Poison at Better Go South Gallery in Stuttgart, Germany and Ephemeral Pleasures at Richard Heller Gallery.

Flachbarth has exhibited nationally and internationally, and his work has been included in various publications including, Juxtapoz Magazine, Forbes Italia, Noblesse Magazine, and Kuba, Paris. His artworks are featured in important private and public collections including Beth Rudin DeWoody Collection, The Bunker, The Christine and Andy Hall Foundation, Collection Montparnasse, Marquez Art Projects and the SCAD Museum of Art.
